We recognize that delays in accessing treatment caused by financial hardship, logistical issues, mandatory waiting periods, or bans often prevent, hinder, or complicate abortion care for women.

That is why we will do everything possible to schedule your appointment 24 to 48 hours after you contact us and complete our intake form. In most cases you will spend one to three hours in the clinic for your procedure.
Important Reminder, to Schedule an Appointment
If you do not have the required permission, you can ask a juvenile court to issue a judicial bypass that will enable you to have an abortion. It is important for you to contact NEOWC BEFORE you seek a judicial bypass. Our staff will explain the process and discuss what you must do to obtain a bypass.
You must be 18 years of age or older.
If you are under the age of 18 you need the permission of a parent, step-parent, grandparent, or sibling age 21 or older to have an abortion.

Same-day Abortion
Same-day medical and surgical abortions are now legal in Ohio. The total cost of the procedure must be paid before it is performed.

Same-day abortions are performed based on:
-
The results of your ultrasound examination
-
The discretion of our doctors
-
The availability of clinic staff and treatment rooms
Our waiting room area is only large enough to accommodate patients.
During your visit, your support person may participate in the process via your cell phone or other type of electronic device. An adult accompanying a minor who is being treated or a relative or caregiver of a person with disabilities who is having an abortion may enter the waiting room.
